Atomic absorption spectrophotometer

Fifth-generation atomic absorption, three atomisation modes on one bench

M1-AA2300 series products are the fifth generation of atomic absorption spectrophotometers developed by M1 Teck. The platform combines optical dual-beam stability, parallel flame and graphite furnace atomisation, intelligent software and layered safety monitoring to support trace metal analysis across environmental, food, pharmaceutical and industrial laboratories.

Flame, graphite furnace and hydride generation share one optical bench. The flame atomiser and graphite furnace are mounted in parallel, which shortens the light path and keeps optical energy loss minimal; a single click switches modes within one second and the system re-positions itself automatically.

System design

Optical dual-beam system
Optical dual-beam system

Optical dual-beam system

+Flame mode defaults to optical dual beam; graphite furnace mode automatically selects electronic dual beam.
+Integral aluminium casting optical platform, providing enhanced resistance to interference.
Parallel dual atomisation system
Parallel dual atomisation platform

Parallel dual atomisation system

+One click in the software switches between flame atomic absorption, graphite furnace atomic absorption and hydride generation within one second.
+On switching modes the system automatically adjusts to the optimal position for graphite furnace and flame work.
+The parallel layout significantly shortens the light path, with minimal loss of optical energy and high sensitivity.
Better stability in graphite furnace measurements
Digital light-control temperature correction

Better stability in graphite furnace measurements

+Digital light-control heating programme with real-time temperature correction.
+Temperature correction in the low-temperature stage keeps samples from boiling; optimised digital optical control gives better stability at high temperature.
+Built-in one-touch temperature calibration eliminates differences between graphite tubes.
+Furnace temperature is controlled from a mathematical model based on the integral algorithm.

Built in

8-lamp holder design

+One-click automatic lamp-position switching; eight lamps can be lit or pre-heated simultaneously, shortening preparation time.
+Patented coded lamp feature recognises element lamps automatically by barcode.

Safety protection system

+Real-time monitoring of air pressure, acetylene pressure, water seal level and flame status.
+Dedicated combustible gas sensors monitor for gas leaks.
+Automatic interlock and flame extinguishing on any abnormality or power loss.
+An air buffer tube supplies about five seconds of auxiliary combustion gas on sudden power loss.

Pneumatic graphite furnace

+Software-controlled one-button opening and closing of the furnace body for convenient graphite tube replacement.
+Sealed furnace chamber design enhances measurement sensitivity.

In-furnace observation camera

+Convenient adjustment of the injection needle position and observation of the injection.
+Real-time monitoring of the temperature ramp inside the furnace chamber.

Accessories

Graphite furnace autosampler
AS 2300

Graphite furnace autosampler

+Suspension design allows installation and removal within three seconds.
+Compact exterior with a multi-position sample tray.
+Capillary syringe tubing with low adsorption and low residue, and easier positional adjustment.
+Online dilution with automatic addition of multiple matrix modifiers — calibration curves from single-point online dilution.
Continuous flow hydride generator
HVG-A

Continuous flow hydride generator

+Trace arsenic, mercury, bismuth, antimony, germanium, selenium, lead and other hydride-forming elements, with low detection limits and excellent stability.
+Ten-stage adjustable flow rates conserve sample solution.
+Peristaltic pump continuous sampling for signal stability with minimal memory effects.
+Compact, electrically heated quartz absorber tubes for simple assembly and temperature stability.
+Stand-alone external design, usable with many atomic absorption spectrophotometers.

Measured performance

According to HJ 168–2020 technical guidance for environmental monitoring methods, soil standard samples GSS-5 and GSS-16 were measured for thallium. The limit of detection was 0.0384 mg/kg and the average accuracy results fell within the certified value ranges.

Powerful and intelligent software

Preset parameters

Preset parameters

Optimal parameters are preset for each element — select the element and the measurement type and the method is populated.

Multi-module accessory configuration

Multi-module accessory configuration

Flame, graphite furnace, HVG, autosampler, pneumatic furnace and mass flow controller modules are enabled from a single dialogue.

Automatic dilution

Automatic dilution

Samples above range are diluted automatically with the autosampler. Enter the injection volume and the top standard concentration and the software builds the calibration sequence.

Intelligent coding

Intelligent coding

Sample sequence rules are recognised, and sequence codes are generated from the entered rule in one click.
